SOME ABOUT MY HERITAGE
My mother's parents were Malcolm and Inez Campbell. During part of my life, they were like second parents to me. Malcolm was Scottish, Dutch and Swiss. Inez was Swiss and German. Grandpa had a phD. in psychology. And Grandma had been a children's librarian.
My father's parents were both Swiss natives Hans Leu and Eva Aeppli (a successful artist). My father was not American. I never met my paternal grandfather and only met my paternal grandmother once when I was 17.
My father was an artist all his life, a painter and tattoo artist. His half sister, Miriam Tinguely, is also a successful painter.
My mother is a poet who has been published in the past. She also has painted in her past. My mother's aunt, Marjorie McDonald, became a prolific collage artist in her later years. My mother's father was a wood carving artist. I'll have to ask my mom for pics. My mother sent me a picture of my grandparents from years ago...
I started another blog on my genealogy 6/23/2010 to go along with my genealogy site at MyHeritage.com which I started 5/14/2010. I started delving into genealogy just before I got married 6/12/10 to Gregory Phillip Rekas.
